THIS PLACE IS A DREAM. A LIFTER'S PARADISE.
Think you're strong? Come here, because the iron never lies.
But yes... the price is definetly worth it. For $50 a month you get access to:
:: Real iron weights (ivanko brand) NO HEX PLATES
:: Dumbbells that go up to 200lb (wish I could use em)
:: Atlas Stones, log bar + a bit of strongman equipment
:: Tires, hammers,
:: Pit Shark
:: Millions of different cable attachments, like the dogbone
:: Unique accessory equipment such as: cable bicep preacher curl, vertical leg press!,isolated leg press, wrist/forearm machine, plate loading bench press, glute ham developer
:: SKierg & lots of wind bikes + annoying crossfit area
:: an octagon & padded area if that's your thing
:: & most importantly, the most motivating atmosphere one could ask for
this place is amazaing. Just for the amount of available machines, this will always make you excel in your workout. The variations are infinite and available.
Is the music loud? Yes
Does it smell? Who cares
Does the place make you feel special? From within.
How is the camaraderie? Like you have never seen it at another gym.
Now onto the reason why this place looses a star, sadly.
- Lack of towels. I know there's wipes but still, without air conditioning, you're going to get sweaty no matter what which makes the workout that much more intense. So I highly advise you bring a towel
- no water fountain. there's a sink in the backroom with filtered water but it still tastes gross. make sure to bring a gallon you'll need it with all the sweating you'll do!
- surprisingly, there's no seated leg curl machine... strange.
- the area where the dumbbells & benches are is very crammed. wish there were more benches because that area seems to always have people. also the mirror is funky - doesn't reflect that well lol
- not many fixed barbells & I didn't see any ez barbells (except the ones you load plates on)
- the cement floor can be kinda slippery at times
Overall, the good outweighs the bad. Trust me if you wanna train like a boss, do come here!
I've been training here for 7 months and it's the best decision I could have made.
Amazing trainers, and staff is great and welcoming, They don't care if you take your shirt off to show off your hairy body, or my flat pecks, instead they encourage me to be myself, and go with the flow.
I didnt use an app or intense computers, sign up was old school. Front desk, papers sign and then youre all set and good to go, highly recommend, its straight forward.

Great place to put in work! I was a Gold's Gym member but relatively new to Austin. I visited for the first time and paid for a day pass, my first impression was that the community is not there to waste time and simply want to hit some new PRs which is very admirable, and the music is loud and heavy as it should be. Switched shortly after!
YES! YES! YES! Love this gym so much, it’s so refreshing to go to a gym where everyone is there to put in work. The staff is helpful and friendly, this is what a gym should be no kids taking up equipment sitting playing games on their phone or taking selfies, just people who want to workout and get results.
My only 2 nitpicks are that the weights/equipment are strewn all over the place and people seem to not care all that much, and from what I've seen, there is no trap bar present in this gym which is a bummer because I love doing shrugs/deadlifts and farmers walks using a trap bar.
Since joining, i have seen major increase in muscle mass, mainly because the staff here have helped me figure out a workout plan that would workout best for me!
The trainers here are crazy (in a good way), they seriously know how to make you melt off your fat.
Signing up is like every other major gym. It's $25 a month with $40 for the first month!
I usually went to gold's gym, but after getting a day pass here i saw that this gym was a huge upgrade!
I recommend this gym, it's a huge upgrade compared to the other places around here! It's just a nice place to toss some weights or sign up for exercise classes.
Nothing to improve here, but i would love to see more classes added!
Since switching gyms i noticed i am able to work out with proper form as the machine help out with how to use them
The classes are amazing, they really get your heart rate up and make sure you're breaking a sweat in the first 5 mins
You can get a day pass, but be warned after trying it out you'll want to make this your home gym!
