i joined because it was close and nearby to my location, convienent to join and the price of all was the best affordable price to maintain. They were simple and had a large room, and didnt know that it was that crowded when i joined. It seemed simple and quick workout to get into.
OVERALL: Too many members. SWEATY/WET machines. Workouts now take too long because so many members!! TV's normally do not have service. Difficult for cancellation, really rude staff and they make it too difficult.
If you plan on joining a health club, then later quitting - this is the one to join since the membership is so affordable. However, on facebook you can read the DIFFICULTY members have with ending their membership. So, when you plan on quitting, give yourself some notice, just to make sure you follow their procedures.
OVERALL: Can't give a solid recommendation.
Cleaning wise :: Great. They keep the (men's) bathroom clean and gym floors vacuumed.
However, THEY DO NOT CLEAN THE MACHINES THEMSELVES. With this many members, t is impossible to keep all the equipment/benches that you sit on-clean.
The Music: ! It seems like it's always the Ying Yang Twins, 'Lil Jon, Flo Rida and Pitbull. Not appropriate lyrics/music playing if I had kids, that's for sure!! The vol. played has gotten lower, but sometimes it's still so loud. My belief is, the staff thinks if it's loud, the gym will seem more "fun" in some way. Look at all the members who listen to their own music. If they are not, then they are probably working out with a partner or with a trainer. Definitely missing it on the atmosphere in the gym!!
I havent had much time to make progress, eveyr machine gets taken up. THe problem is because of the hours of operations are not fittable. I cant get into a worthy enough time to have machines to myself, or even a solid space. SO its extremley difficult to stay consistent here.
The only reason the club is getting one star is because of the class instructors. The classes are the reason I've signed up in the past. The classes are great except for the fact that they are very overcrowded making the workouts much less than desired. The biggest issue I've had with this club is the sheer incompetence of the support staff. The instructors of the classes themselves are wonderful. In addition, I had to struggle to cancel membership. They continued to bill me and ultimately I had to call my credit card company to put a stop to it. The experience was negative enough that I would never considering joining this gym again.
For me they were/are very deceitful, sneaky behavior based on a legal contract of Many pages. you will never read when signing a stupid fitness contract right after the manager tells you the opposite.
So be careful if you're looking for a fitness club to join. Make sure you take the contract and read it before sign. Don't trust their words. This gym will continue to charge you even after you cancel your membership. They require that you send in a certified letter to Webster Tx letting them know that you want to cancel.

I was going to Retro fitness but they closed down without any notice to any one they transfered our membership to Fitness Connection
Yes I would recommend as It is fairly new and all new equipment .The people there are very helpful if you have any questions
Everything is good there .But the classes they have the music is way to loud .So don't go to any of the classes
I an trying to build up strength and to be more flexible and to have more energy
I haven't been able to afford any personal training there but they will help you with any questions .
You just pay an enrolement fee of around $99 but they always have specials and a lower enrolement fee
I wanted to stay fit during the summer between school and college and potentially meet friends as well.
I would certainly recommend it. The registration process is very simple and the facilities are fantastic. They are always clean and the building is almost never too crowded to work in.
I would like to see there be better institutions in place that ensure that users of equipment are cleaning behind themselves.
My goal is to put on some muscle weight, and Fitness Connection provides me weights and other machines necessary to do so.
I have not taken any classes or worked with specific instructors, but all the employees of fitness connection are very nice.
The sign up process was entirely online on the Fitness Connection website and very simple.
Surrounded by 24 hour Fitness and Retro Fitness just within spitting distance, this seemed to be well equipped, low cost and we'll staffed. In addition to 0 joining fees and just $10 per month, this was the perfect place to work out.
It has a wide range of equipment, multiple sets of each machine, well maintained, clean, friendly and an excellent shower/ locker room. It's staff are helpful, friendly and professional.
The programming on the television screens is rarely appropriate, with many screens often blank, or many screens showing uninteresting content.
I wanted to lose body fat, gain muscle and develop lean mass and a shapely figure. The equipment at Fitness Connection is helping me get there, including the body fat measurement instruments.
While I've never worked with instructors here, the instructors have been proactive and helpful in correcting my form or giving me suggestions on better exercises.
No commitment was required, and the sign up process was quick and painless. I was signed up in less than 3 minutes.
